Welcome to the St. Jude Heroes Charity Athlete Program in the Gen-A Community. On the tabs below you’ll find more information about St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, the world’s premier pediatric cancer research center for which thousands of runners, walkers and other endurance sports enthusiasts raise money as Heroes. Additionally, you’ll find profiles of some of our previous Heroes, one patient’s moving story, other events you can participate in as St. Jude Heroes, benefits of the program, a list of incentives you are eligible for as a St. Jude Hero, and information on creating a team of Heroes.As part of the Gen-A Community, you can use this site to connect with other St. Jude Heroes running the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon and check back for updates and information about the event.When you run as a St. Jude Hero, you’re using your power to make a difference in the life of a child with cancer or other life-threatening illness.
